20 YEARS OF RISKY ROADZ
Risky Roadz documented the electrifying embryonic stages of Grime with various cyphers, BTS clips and freestyles. With thanks to it’s creator, Roony, the lo-fi, self-filmed footage captured the early days of Skepta, Kano, Ghetts, Giggs, Chip and countless others before they became the household names they are today.
A ground-breaking 20 Years of Risky Road takeover on December 14th commemorates the genre’s past, giving it the nod it deserves. If it wasn’t for Roony and Risky Rodz, London and the symbiosis between music & digital culture as we now know it, wouldn’t be the same.
Expect some VERY special guests on the night.
