As well as collaborating with Beyoncé on two tracks from ‘Cowboy Carter’, his own megahit ‘A Bar Song (Tipsy)’ has sat atop the Billboard Hot 100 for more the 10 weeks, making it the most successful track of the year so far. Fusing country and hip hop, with the kind of immense but raw songs that feel epic as a movie, the Virginia star’s trip across the Atlantic is sure to be one for the history books.
