47SOUL

Originally formed in Jordan, and with members now scattered between Palestine, London and the USA, 47SOUL have spent the past decade pioneering the unique genre-hybrid of Shamstep. Fusing hip hop and electronica with Arab-influenced melodies and styles (including Shaabi, traditional dabke dance and the pop music of Levant), it’s seen them play a celebrate NPR Tiny Desk Concert, and hailed by the Guardian as “impressive live performers”, that specialise in “high energy music with a message… delivered with confidence and good humour”.
