In the early 2000s, Babyshambles emerged as both a counterpoint and continuation of the Libertines myth – messy, melodic and achingly sincere. Fronted by Pete Doherty, the band channelled the chaos of their frontman’s world into music that felt urgent and alive. Albums Down in Albion, Shotter’s Nation and Sequel to the Prequel captured that lightning-in-a-bottle mix of punk spirit and poetic melancholy, with tracks like Killamangiro and Delivery becoming instant cult classics. Through every reinvention, the band have remained a fixture of British indie folklore: scrappy, romantic and defiantly human. Now, Babyshambles return to KOKO – the beating heart of Camden – for a night that promises all the energy, anthems and unpredictability that made them legends.
