Taha Fahssi, better known as ElGrandeToto, is the leading figure of Moroccan rap and the most-streamed artist in the MENA region. Born and raised in Casablanca, he began releasing music in 2016 and quickly gained recognition with “Pablo” in 2017.

Blending Darija (Moroccan Arabic), French, and English over trap productions infused with North African influences, he has developed a distinctive sound that has earned both regional and international acclaim.

His debut album, Caméléon (2021), reached Spotify’s Global Top 10, while his second album, 27 (2023), debuted at No. 3 among Spotify’s top global album debuts. In late 2024, he released the mixtape SALGOAT, featuring “Diplomatico” and collaborations with Morad, Ayra Starr, and Roi Heenok.

In June 2025, ElGrandeToto became the first Moroccan-born artist to headline the OLM Souissi Main Stage at the Mawazine Festival, performing for more than 400,000 spectators. Later that year, he released “BOOMX3,” the first single from the forthcoming SALGOAT 2, expected in 2026.
