Brighton singer-songwriter Sam Tompkins has established himself as one of the UK’s most compelling and emotionally resonant new voices. Following the success of his 2022 EP Who Do You Pray To and his top ten debut album Hi, My Name Is Insecure, he returns with his second album, Are We Gonna Sing?.
Recorded largely live, Are We Gonna Sing? showcases Sam’s heartfelt, raw vocal style and explores themes of grief, healing, resilience and hope. Featuring songs including ‘Beauty Queen’, the album marks his most personal and accomplished body of work to date, building on the success of breakthrough singles ‘Lose It All’ and ‘To the Moon’.
