Famed for massive ‘90s hits ‘Connected’ and ‘Step Up’, the former of which Billboard heralded at the time as ”an instantly insinuating hip hop/ funk workout”, Stereo MCs have spent a nearly four-decade career in thrall to sound. Setting up their own record label, also called Connected Records, to showcase a breadth of dance-adjacent artists, they’ve still got their finger on the underground pulse. Go back to the future with the UK electronic legends, and get connected all over again.
