Named as Gigwise’s ‘One’s To Watch’ for London in 2023, electrifying alt-pop duo Szou sit somewhere between the electro sensibilities of Tears For Fears and the foot-stomping power rock of The Killers. Fusing lush guitar riffs, fizzing synth lines, playful lyrics and soulful harmonies, Szou are quickly establishing themselves as one of the UK’s most exciting live bands.

Lead singer Zoe moved to London in 2021 to pursue music as a solo artist. She was introduced to producer David Simpson by co-writer Calum Pearce. After writing a number of tracks together, it became clear that they had a unique talent as a team. Since then, they have performed at Camden Assembly, The Ned, The Sebright Arms, The Grace, The Finsbury and City Sounds Festival.

Szou has received recognition from 1883 Magazine, Jodie Bryant, BBC Introducing radio stations and as a Youth Music NEXT GEN FUND recipient. In 2024, Szou promise to unleash their most exciting tracks yet and take their musical journey to the next level.
