Yamê + Brian Nasty

Franco-Cameroonian R&B artist Yamê may have gone viral with his Colors Show performance of 2023 single ‘Bécane’ – the version hitting Number One on the Global Spotify Viral charts and earning more than 130 million streams – but the success was far from a fluke. Releasing debut project ‘ELOWI’, filled with a heady mix of hip hop, trap, R&B and more, Yamé has already caught the eye of Timbaland with his inimitable, hybrid style. As he told Pan African Music around the release: “They can’t put words to it or put my music into a style, and that’s all the better. So, I do Yamê. I’m in my own category.”
