In support of new LP ‘Dead Channel Sky’, Sub Pop-signed experimental LA hip-hop group Clipping head to KOKO for their biggest London headline show to date. Influenced by dystopian cyberpunk, with its title taken from William Gibson’s cult sci-fi novel Neuromancer, the record follows 2020’s innovative, acclaimed ‘Visions of Bodies Being Burned’, maintaining the trio’s ominous world-building and pushing it through a Y2K lens. “[Clipping offer] a distinctly avant-garde take on hip-hop with the rich history of horror cinema running through it” – Loud and Quiet.
