Ruby Francis

North London born, bred and based, producer, artist, singer, songwriter and DJ Ruby Francis creates a definitive blend of sonics using a range of musical influences collected from 70’s soul to 90’s/ 00’s R&B like J Dilla to Astrid Gilberto, Chaka Khan to the Neptunes to name a few. 

Ruby has established herself as a cutting edge producer in London, but gained recognition around the world, specifically in Japan where she exclusively released her debut album in 2018 under Japanese Label – Sweet Soul. 

Following the release of “Archives”, her latest self-written, produced and recorded album made in her bedroom studio, Ruby continues to write for her new project due to be released in 2024. 

Ruby has also added DJing/selecting to her skillset as an extension of her musical ability and passion, and describes it as “another creative outlet for me where I can share the music that I love, and that has made me who I am as an artist. It’s also another way of being able to connect with the audience.”
